From the ever-moving glaciers to turbulent rivers, we witness the full spectrum of Patagonia's hydrological cycle. 

The human geography of Patagonia is as beautiful and enduring as its landscapes. All our trips pass through traditional Patagonian ranches, and we share meals and maté with locals as we learn their stories. 

We move through rare old-growth forest, desolate high alpine shrub-land, and wet, vibrant marshes. We can never guarantee a wildlife encounter, but we will move through habitat that is home to Andean condors, highly endangered huemul deer, and elusive pumas.  

All our trips are built around the concept of the team. Guides and visitors share meals and ideas, and we relish the energy, contributions, and positive presence of every person. 

Few places are as rich in geological, glaciological, and climate science lessons as the Northern Patagonian Ice Fields. We'll pause often to study the natural experiments unfolding before our eyes. 

Food is fuel for our bodies and our souls. We take pride in preparing healthy and nourishing meals over open fires, using knowledge gleaned from decades of experience cooking in remote environments. 

We sleep in rustic shelters, in tents, or, weather permitting, right under the stars, always ensuring that our clients are comfortable, cozy, and safe.
